Manage Your Account
1. Change your mailing address. To make a change in your mailing address, fax a written request to (212) 202-6097 with signatures of account holder(s). Note: Please include your McGinn Smith 9-digit account number (e.g., MXX-XXXXXX). All future mail correspondence (including your monthly statement) will then go to the new address of record.
2. Withdrawal Requests from Your Account. As a valued McGinn Smith customer, you always have access to the cash that is available in your account. The cash available is the sum of your Money Market Funds and your cash balance.
Please Note: Any securities held in your account must be liquidated before you can request to withdraw those funds. Also note that stock transactions settle 3 business days after the trade date. Funds will not be available for withdrawal until settlement, except with a specific request to allow for "pre-payment deductions". Please contact Client Services at (800) 361-8150 for more information pre-payment deductions if you require your funds before the 3 day settle period expires.
3. Withdrawal Methods:
Check by Regular Mail. Checks in the name of the account holder(s) can be sent to the mailing address of record on the account (i.e., the address to which statements are sent). There is no charge for check distribution. Please make your check withdrawal request by FAX to (212) 202-6097 or by mail to the address below. Also, please include your McGinnSmith 9-digit account number (e.g., MXX-XXXXXX), amount requested (you may indicate "balance"), and signature(s) of all the customers of record on the account.

Check by FedEx Overnight Delivery. Checks can be sent by FedEx if you arrange to be present to sign for delivery on the following day (McGinnSmith CANNOT send FedEx without confirmation of receipt by signature). There is a $13.50 charge ($23.50 for Saturday delivery) on your account for FedEx delivery. Please follow the request procedures described above and clearly indicate your preference for Fed-Ex overnight delivery.
Wire Transfer. Wire transfers can only be sent to another account in the name of the customer(s) of record on the McGinn Smith account. There is a $15 account charge for domestic transfers ($50 for international transfers). The wire transfer process generally takes 24 hours (4-5 business days for international transfers). Please make your wire transfer withdrawal request by FAX to (212) 202-6097 or by mail to the address below. Also, please include:
Name
McGinnSmith 9-digit account number (e.g., MXX-XXXXXX)
Amount requested (you may indicate "balance")
Signature(s) of all the customers of record on the account
Recipient bank name, address, and ABA# (include SWIFT# and Country for international transfers)
Bank account number
Name on bank account (must be same as name on McGinnSmith account)
